For the price, this is an excellent PC. Don't be afraid of refurbished items -- generally it means that whatever was wrong with it the first time has been fixed.

Booted up right away, hummed along at a steady clip. The onboard graphics were enough to support my MMO at bare minimum until I can pop a better video card in it. Vista took its sweet time to configure itself in the hardware. Also, UPS and Newegg...

Vista! Do yourself a favor and get an XP OEM first thing for this computer. If not, be sure to clean off all the HP bloatware included first thing. I love HP machines, but all the extra stuff is unnecessary

Dont buy unless ur willing to gamble.

 

I originally thought that it would be a benefit for me to purchase a computer from newegg thinking that they wouldn't rip people off. They are just passing off defective units.

Out of the box...it never worked. Called newegg and they told me to go to hp. Called hp and talked for more than 4 hours with people in another country (they wont let me say the country name because its not politically correct haha). Whats more, newegg...

Buy this computer!

 

I've been in IT for a while and have sold computers in retail and I say buy this computer! Do not be afraid of buying recertified! This computer looks brand new when you take it out of the box. It doesn't have a lot of the accessories and cd's that...

Computer instantly boots up! Very nice computer for the money. 320gb sata hard drive, 2gb ram, even the integrated video isn't half bad until I get a new video card. Newegg has outdone themselves with this computer

None whatsoever! I would recommend formatting and reinstalling Vista first thing to get rid of the pesky HP recovery partition and preloaded junk softwarwe

Grat product for the pirce

Works grat and love it for the price it is worth it and happy about the 2GB ram

What a piece of complete trash

 

NewEgg is better than this. I've been a customer for a long time and this is unprecedented.

Not too bad

 

I would recommend this machine for anyone who doesn't want to know much about the computer and just needs to do every day tasks and perhaps some simple media tasks as well.

Great price ($350) after discount. I like the dual core processor and generous amount of RAM (2GB). Newegg service reliable as always

Boot up problems

 

This computer is still a nice machine for only $399. We didn't realize that it was a refurbished machine until after we payed for it. If you can afford a more expensive machine than get a more expensive machine instead.

This computer has very nice specs, including a large 320gb hard drive and 2gb of RAM. Lightscribe is a cool feature also

I write this review today because today (day 2 of owning the computer) is the day that we had to restore the computer. This machine tends to have some boot up problems. Computers should be problem free especially after only 2 days of using/owning them
