Strange how the tray abruptly pauses at the beginning of eject, then ejects the rest of the way. Tray motion in general seems noisy and clunky when closing and opening. Drive also seems a bit noisy when disk is spinning, even at less than top speed

Works as well as any other DVD burner I have used (and I've used a lot of them!) but time will tell how long they last. I seem to have better luck with my DVD burners if I burn at slower speeds. Seems like these things are not built to withstand the wear...

Tray makes a loud snap noise when it starts to open. I bought two of these and they both do it. Not a big deal though. DVD Media rated faster than 16x is virtually impossible to come by

VERY FAST DRIVE. I HAD A LITE-ON 22X, EVERY TIME VISTA 64 STARTED UP THE DRIVE WOULD MAKE A GARGLE SOUND. IT WAS A NORMAL FUNCTION, BUT I COULDN'T STAND IT
