Mahellan 1475T

 

Hope they provide a better holding device, the one come with the unit is not as good as the older unit one.

The unit is actually a 1470 with the 1475T upgrade package. It came out the box and work very well. Very easy to setup. You need to get online for the new version update to get the 1475T features but that's easy to download and setup. Not a problem at...

Worked very well until I bought the map update.

 

When I initially purchased this unit, it was still on Version 1 software, and had quite a few bugs; after several upgrades in that area, taking it to version 2.42, the software was pretty solid, and the routings were almost always exactly what I'd have...

Used units with V39 maps are excellent

The latest map versions make the unit much less useful than expected

I was given this model as a gift, way better than any other GPS i have used. It has a nice mounting function so you don't have to remove the entire mount, just the GPS slides off. Lightweight so you can easily slip it into your jacket pocket or purse...

Awesome GPS unit better than Garmin 1490t!!!

 

I have to admit, before purchasing the 1475t, I was mainly a Garmin user. Actually I just purchased the Garmin 765t, and was hugely disappointed by it. What is important to me on a GPS is POIs. Without them it's like driving in the middle of nowhere...
