Nextar x3-08

 

I bought this gps from kohls in November 2007 and up till date (Sept'09) I have returned it twice.  The GPS stopped for whatever reason and when i try to call the customer service no one pick or return my call.  I will not recommend this product.

Nice in the beginning...give it 3 months

Bad product after 3 months.  It usually stopped working.  I have tried it twice

Nextar GPS Products Are Fair At Best

 

If you can get a Nextar GPS at Kohl's for about $50, it is worth the money.

It is cheap

For the Price, its a good product

 

For the price ($79.99) plus $20.00 Kohls money (makes it $59.99 after the manufacturers rebate), its a great buy.  Appears to be accurate although it does "freeze up" if the temp in the car is freezing, but once the heater warms you up, it works fine. ...

inexpensive and worth the price when rebated and on sale

The maps in this GPS are 8 to 10 years out of date and Nextar has no updates available.  The directions are unpredictable.  Last week the unit directed me 2 miles south then 1/2 mile east then 2 1/2 miles north.  I could have saved myself 5 miles of...

Pretty Good Deal

 

It works better than I thought, and it will get you from point A to point B with no problem most of the time. It is not hard to enter information at all, very easy to read and handle. Not to mention the mp3 and photo option that is awesome! I love it...

Not going to tell you whether to buy or not but see Pros and Cons and decide yourself. Dont get stuck in traffic, be late, or risk your vehicle. Buy smart and be safe.

don't buy this unit

 

If you want a good gps don't buy a nextar. it doesn't acquire a gps signal for about 5min and then when your driving on a main hwy it won't recognize it and will tell you to find the nearest road. buyers beware!!!
