LandAirSea Tracking Key

 

The LandAirSea GPS Tracking Key is an easy, relatively inexpensive way to track a vehicle's location without monthly fees, as long as you don't need real-time monitoring.

No monthly fees. Records location data every second. Strong magnet allows for easy mounting underneath a car.

No real-time monitoring. No power switch. Battery cover held down with four tiny screws. Clumsy PC software. No configurable alerts or Mac support.

Past-Track, Reports, and Conclusions The interface for Past-Track, the GPS Tracking Key's companion software package, is pretty obtuse; it just drops you onto a blank window with a bunch of grayed-out icons. It turns out I had to go to Setup > Setup...

The Tracking Key was a great GPS tracker for the cost. The system was fairly easy to use, but I did not some technical support on downloading and saving the data to my personal computer the first time.
