I have a GPS12 in a couple years, mainly for surfing the heather and hills in search of my stones, stone circles, shafts and connectors. It is easy to see on a map where the goal is simply on the ground is difficult to decide exactly where you are....

I have 5 GPS, but Garmin 12XL is my favourite GPS, i use this GPS for adventure, BTS waypoint marking, survey, use in motobike & car. I I always carry a GPS 12XL, everywhere, and if I find a place Point of Interest I turn on this GPS to mark waypoint....
