This system is better then I thought it was going to be. I was just hoping it was going to work. This system is perfect for a small front room or bedroom. Easy to setup

Died in less than a year

 

I was very happy when it worked, but that was for way too short of time. Ultimately, I regret buying this system and have found many people with the same problems I have experienced. I think it has something to do with a very cheap power supply that...

Sounded great when it was working. Tons of functions. HDMI. DVD picture looked terrific. I think the upconversioning of regular DVDs looks better than DVDs played in my PS3. Plays DVDs from all regions. USB port for plugging in a USB stick to look at...

One day, after about 8-9 months, the power cut out. I unplugged it and plugged it back in a while later and it resumed functioning. a few days later the same thing happened and eventually it came back. Then one day the LEDs on the front came on but...

Experience makes the product

 

I never even had the chance to mess with the thing let alone figure out how it worked but I do know this. Your first impression and experience with a product often determines how you perceive it's quality and, in my case, getting THREE dead units shows...

Has a lot of features

First model I got shipped to me was DOA, no power. Waited a week for the replacement to come, SAME THING. DOA. Get ANOTHER one sent to me, and by this third week, Im ready to give up. Third one... DOA

Always loved Philips, so I thought this would be a great buy. Unfortunately, Philips has ruined its reputation with me on this product. They sent me a much cheaper model with the Rapid Replacement program, and it did not work either.

Looks great ; Easy understanding ; Good price

Did not work. Followed directions to the T, but the system made a loud clicking noise ; No HDMI in ; Remote feels very cheap ; iPod dock feels very cheap

Sounds good

 

Do not expect have 5.1 surround sound while watching content from cable or sat. Whether broadcast in surround or not.

Easy setup. Loud enough to scare small children. Decent clarity

No support for 5.1 in TV mode

Awesome sound

 

I found mine on a famous auction site for 80 bucks. I would have bought it here if i didn't find it so cheap somewhere else. New Egg is awesome always satisfied.

Great sound! I love the progressive scan its turns regular DVD into Blue ray quality. The USB port is also a plus you can put videos and pics on a flash drive and view them on your tv.

DVD tray is a little flimsy, Has wired connectors for the speakers so the wire can't be upgraded unless you splice.
