Works in Alienware M15x

 

The AW M15x is only SATA 2 so putting the fastest SSD money can buy in this machine makes no sense.

Inexpensive. Fast enough. The 750GB HDD it replaced was painfully slow. I am pretty spoiled by having SSDs in all my other laptops.

well i was wanting another samsung, but was kinda disappointed with the last one sure it fast, weather it is faster than sandisk i cant tell, but the sandisk was less money than the samsung and didn't come with software that didn't work.

I have nothing bad to say, its an ssd it do what ssd's do!!

What a drive!

 

I've had very good success with these drives. Had my brother order a couple for a build I did for him and was so impressed I bought one for myself. Going to buy a second one to use for a RAID.

Installed / recognized very quickly on my system. Replaced a 250GB 7200 RPM drive. Used software to clone the drive over to the SSD, and after a quick shut down to unplug old drive, system booted within 8 seconds of hitting power button compared to a...

Great Speed Easy Setup

 

I would recommend this will be buying another in time for my laptop

Speed for my windows 10 machine boot up is around 10 seconds to fully loaded with this as my os drive Price was great at 119 on sale enough room for all my programs to run from it and at solid state speeds

Not a knock on SanDisk....T5500 onboard SATA is 3GB. Tried THREE different 6GB SATA cards to boot the SanDisk off of and the Dell BIOS only saw each as a "Mass Storage Device" but NOT attached drives so NO Bootable Device. You could see thecards in the...

Installed this as a Win 7 Pro Boot Drive in a ProTools 12 Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)...Dell Precision T5500 with Dual Processors (12 Cores) and 72GB RAM. System also has 2 @ 2 TB Hard Drives installed. OS loads in 5 seconds after POST and ProTools...
