Even with all these faults, I would probably keep the camera if it wasn't for that high-pitched whine playing through the video. It's terrible.

The camera is small enough to fit in a back pocket or shorts pocket. Opening the view screen turns the camera on so you are one button away from recording.

The video has a horribly high pitched whine in the playback. Every time we watch a video from this camera, we have to listen to that horrible high-pitched sound through the entire video. The buttons are in an extremely awkward position and not easy to...

Loving this camera

 

This camera really is very impressive and has met my needs well. I wanted something just to film shows and friends and it does that exceedingly well. If you do your research, you'll find this is a great camera for the money.

High quality/frame rate ; Nice look ; Intuitive operation

Always seems to be a little zoomed in ; Night mode tends to make the picture grainy

Stunning close ups, video quality,and mic. Love the size of this camcorder has external mic jack! Easy to use GUI and came with alot of cables to connect to a hd tv to view videos

CAME WITH A DEAD BATTERY!!! That's the only con I have. I ordered 2 replacement batteries

I found that after you zoom in past 3x the more and more the image stabilization gives way..so if distance shooting is your hobby a tri-pod is going to be your best friend Even tho the Auto focus is quick for focusing in on things..i noticed the zoom...
